RNA Isolation Protocol

| Work surfaces / benches | Apply the solution directly to the surface that needs cleaning. Wipe thoroughly using a paper towel, then rinse with water. Finish by drying the area with a clean paper towel. |
| lab equipment | Generously apply the solution to a paper towel and thoroughly wipe all exposed surfaces. Rinse with water and dry. For small parts, soak them in RNase Wipe-Out, then rinse thoroughly with RNase-free water and dry with a clean paper towel. |
| plastic and glass vessels | Add enough RNase Wipe-Out to centrifuge tubes to fully coat the interior surface. Gently rotate or invert the tube to ensure the solution covers all areas. Pour off the solution, then rinse 2-3 times with RNase-free water, and allow the tube to air dry. |
